What do you do when you want noodles but it is too hot for hot water? Nissin has a surprising answer: Cold Cup Noodle! You add cold water, wait five minutes, and your noodles are ready to eat.
The new noodles come in Spicy Kimchi and Chicken Salt Lemon flavours. They became very popular in Japan, and the first supplies sold out just one week after they went on sale. The noodles took five years to develop.
People are also trying them with different drinks, such as soya milk and tea. Nissin says they could even be useful as emergency food because they do not need hot water. Would you try them?
| A: | Have you heard about the Cold Cup Noodles? |
| B: | Yeah, I tried them yesterday! They're pretty good. |
| A: | Really? Which flavour did you try? |
| B: | I went for the Spicy Kimchi. It was surprisingly tasty. |
| A: | I might try the Chicken Salt Lemon next time. |
| B: | Great choice! Let me know how it is. |
