BTS have made a surprising decision about the 2027 Grammy Awards. The South Korean group says it will not enter its music for the awards this year. Why? The Grammys have created a new award called Best Asian Pop Music Performance. It is for music from places such as South Korea, Japan and China.

However, BTS does not like the idea of putting Asian music into one big group. The members want people to enjoy their music without thinking about where it comes from or what language they speak. The new award is meant to celebrate Asian music, but BTS thinks it may separate Asian artists from other musicians. Now, fans are discussing whether the new award is a good idea.
