Hotels in Japan may soon have a new kind of bath — a human washing machine. The machine, made by Osaka company Science, is called the Human Washer in the Future. You lie down inside the pod, and it automatically washes and rinses your body with warm, soapy water. While you relax, you can enjoy calming music and peaceful images on a screen.
The first model was first shown at Expo 2025 in Osaka. Many hotels and spas have already ordered units. However, it's too expensive for home use, costing about the same as an imported luxury car.
| A: | Have you tried the new human washing machine at the hotel? |
| B: | Not yet! Is it really that good? |
| A: | Oh yes, you just lie down, and it does all the work! |
| B: | Sounds like a dream. Does it play music too? |
| A: | Yes, calming music and nice images on a screen. |
| B: | Wow, I wish I could afford one for home! |
