Tessa had a lot of shoes. She had big shoes, small shoes, red shoes, and blue shoes. She loved all her shoes. One day, Tessa had a funny idea. "I will make a tower of shoes!" she said. Tessa started stacking her shoes. She put big shoes at the bottom and small shoes at the top. The shoe tower was taller than her!
Tessa was very happy and called her cat, Max, to see. But Max saw a bird outside and jumped. Whoosh! Max hit the shoe tower. Shoes flew everywhere! Tessa was surprised, then she laughed. "Silly Max," she said. Tessa and Max played with the shoes all afternoon. Tessa's tower of shoes was fun, but playing with Max was even better.
| Mum: | Tessa, why is your room so messy? |
| Tessa: | I was making a tower of shoes, Mum. |
| Mum: | A tower of shoes? In your room? |
| Tessa: | Yes, Mum. But Max knocked it down. |
| Mum: | Oh, I see. Can you clean it up, please? |
| Tessa: | Okay... But can I do it after dinner? |
