Manaka was nervous. Today was her first day at Sushi Junior High School. She finished elementary school and didn't know anyone here. "What if I make no friends?" she thought. When she entered her new class, she saw many new faces. She sat quietly at her desk. Suddenly, a girl sat next to her. "Hi, I'm Yui," she said with a smile. Manaka smiled back, "I'm Manaka."
At lunch, Manaka tried to open her juice, but it squirted everywhere! "Oh no!" she said. Everyone laughed, but not in a mean way. Yui helped her clean up. "It happens to me all the time," Yui said, laughing. Manaka laughed too.
By the end of the day, Manaka wasn't nervous anymore. She had made her first friend. Junior High wasn't so scary after all.
| Manaka: | Hi Yui, did you bring your lunch? |
| Yui: | Yes, I did. I have sushi today. What about you, Manaka? |
| Manaka: | I brought a sandwich and juice. |
| Yui: | That sounds nice! Let's eat together. |
| Manaka: | That's a great idea, Yui. Let's do it! |
| Yui: | Gaaahh! Manaka, your juice!!! |
