Kaoru, a young boy, loved fast cars. He dreamed of driving a race car. One day, he saw a contest on a box of cornflakes: "Win a Real Race Car!" Kaoru was thrilled. He drew a picture of a bright green and yellow car with a big, friendly smile and named it "Zoomy."
He sent his drawing and waited. A few weeks later, a big truck stopped outside his house. Kaoru ran outside. The truck opened, and there was a real car inside! It looked just like his drawing – green, yellow, with a smiling face. But there was something funny. The car was very, very small. It was too small for Kaoru to sit in! He laughed. "It's a toy race car!" he said.
Still, Kaoru loved it. He played with Zoomy every day. He raced around the house, making car noises.
| Kaoru: | Mom, look! I won a race car! |
| Mom: | That's wonderful, Kaoru! But isn't it a bit small? |
| Kaoru: | Yes, it is. But it's just like Zoomy, the car I drew! |
| Mom: | That's true. It's very cute. You should show your dad. |
| Kaoru: | Good idea! He can play with me and Zoomy! |
