Brent Chapman, a 34-year-old man, got his sight back after a special surgery using his own tooth. The surgery, called "tooth-in-eye," was done by Dr Greg Moloney in Canada.
Chapman lost his vision at 13 after a rare reaction to medicine. He had 50 other surgeries before, but none worked. In this new surgery, a tooth was taken out, placed in his cheek, and later put into his eye with a small lens.
"Dr Moloney and I made eye contact, and it was very emotional," Chapman said. Now he can see well, and it has changed his life.
| A: | Can you believe my tooth is in my eye now? |
| B: | That's amazing! Can you see well? |
| A: | Yes, it's like seeing the world again! |
| B: | I'm happy it worked. Does it hurt? |
| A: | No, but if it does, I'll go to the dentist! |
| B: | Haha, enjoy your new sight, Brent! |
