Vocabulary used in real English exams.

The lessons in this collection introduce a small number of words together with their Japanese meanings, a simple phrase and an example sentence for each.Each lesson comes with a printable .pdf file which you can use with your students.

The following CEFR level labels are used to show the difficulty:

A1: Beginner,  A2: Elementary,  B1: Intermediate,  B2: Upper Intermediate,  C1: Advanced,  C2: Proficient

• A1 -  Hang, Seem, Appear, Discover, Impress, Realize
• B2 -  Forever Young *
• B1 -  Good Fires, Bad Fires *

* Each of these word lists is a collection of vocabulary from a long reading exercise. For example, "Good Fires, Bad Fires" was the title of a reading passage in a 2016 exam, and so all of the words are from that passage about managing forest fires.
