The Loch Ness Centre is asking NASA to help in a new search for the Loch Ness monster. They hope to use NASA's advanced imaging technology to scan the loch. The search will happen on the 90th anniversary of the first expedition, from 30 May to 2 June.
In the past, there have been over 1,156 sightings of the monster. Aimee Todd from the Loch Ness Centre said, "We are hoping that Nessie hunters around the world will help us reach the people at NASA. We are just hoping for their expert guidance to help with our ongoing quest to get answers."
Volunteers will watch the surface of the water for any unusual activity. They can also join through live cameras on the Visit Inverness Loch Ness website. There will be a film about the monster and a live debate with a researcher.
The Loch Ness Centre hopes to make this search the biggest ever. They are looking for new equipment to help solve the mystery of the Loch Ness monster.
