A man in Mexico has been arrested. He opened an airplane's emergency door and walked on the wing. The plane was at Mexico International Airport, waiting to go to Guatemala City. It had been waiting for hours without air conditioning or water. The airport said no one was hurt. They gave the man to the police.
Other people on the plane said they agreed with the man. The plane had been delayed for three hours. It was supposed to leave Mexico City at 11:30 last Thursday. The delay was because of a problem that needed fixing. Because of the man, the passengers had to change planes.
It's not clear what will happen to the man, but the other passengers said he helped them. They wrote a note saying, "He opened the window for everyone's safety. The delay and lack of air were dangerous. He saved our lives." They put their names on the note and shared it on social media.
A: | Did you hear about the man who opened the plane's door? |
B: | Yeah, I heard he was arrested. |
A: | But the passengers seem to support him. |
B: | Really? Why's that? |
A: | Apparently, the plane was delayed for hours without air conditioning. |
B: | Wow, that must have been tough. I would have been frustrated too. |
